Foundation Projects/Grants

We give four different scholarships each year- Dean Bartoo, Joan Skinner, Bob Kay Memorial, and two vocational scholarships.

Student Recognition Program

We provide certificates, pens, and bumper stickers for Kiwanis Clubs to honor students in grades 7-12.  Clubs may choose to give a student of the year plaque for an additional fee.  Program costs start at $50 per school or grade.

Kiwanis Across Borders Grants

Kiwanis Clubs may apply for a matching grant to support a project in a different country.  See link below for more information.

Roadrunner Grant

The Past Lieutenant Governor's Association - Roadrunners donates funds raised at their annual silent auction to be awarded by the SWDK Foundation Board.  Funds are to be used to help children in the Southwest District.  Applications are due to the Foundation President by February 1st of each year.  Grants will be awarded at the Mid-Year conference.  Download the application below.
